Who we are

Pastelo for Mac is provided by legal entity name, address and company number. Contact: support email address.

What you copy stays on your Mac

  • Clipboard history is stored only on your Mac, in the app’s Application Support folder.
  • Stored content (text, previews, images, file names and collection names) is encrypted with AES-GCM using a key kept in your macOS Keychain.
  • Clipboard content is never sent to us, to Lemon Squeezy, to the update service or to any analytics service.
  • Items marked as concealed or temporary by other apps, such as password managers, are skipped. You can exclude apps, pause monitoring, delete items and clear your history at any time.
  • Encryption protects stored history but cannot stop other software running on your Mac from reading the clipboard.

What the app sends over the internet

  • License checks (Pro only). When you activate, validate or deactivate Pro, the app sends your license key and an installation name to Lemon Squeezy’s License API. The installation name is the app name plus part of a random identifier created when the app was installed. It doesn’t include your Mac’s name, serial number or hardware identifiers.
  • Update checks. When automatic updates are enabled, the app requests an update feed over HTTPS. The request includes the app version, as any web request would. confirm update host and whether Sparkle system profiling stays disabled
  • Pages you open. Links such as Buy Pro or Support open in your browser.
  • The app has no analytics, advertising or crash reporting.

Purchases

Pro is sold by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and processes your payment, billing details and sales tax. Lemon Squeezy shares order details with us, such as your name, email address, country and order information, so we can provide licenses and support. We never receive your full card details. This website

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security. hosting provider and log retention

Your rights
